1. Who is behind this
TeenMood is published by Sitepoint Systems ApS, CVR 39299739, Rådhusstræde 15, 1466 Copenhagen K, Denmark ("we"). You can write to us at support@teenmood.eu.
2. Licence
You are granted a free, personal, and non-exclusive right to use TeenMood on your own devices. You may not resell the app, copy it, attempt to circumvent its encryption or security, or use the app to collect information about others. The app is free, and there are no in-app purchases.
3. Age
You must be at least 15 years old to use TeenMood. When you register, you confirm that you are. If you are under 15, you may not create an account, and we will delete accounts we discover belong to someone under 15. The reason for the age limit of 15 is explained in our privacy policy.
4. Your account
You are responsible for what happens from your account. Take care of your phone, and let us know if you think someone has gained access to your account. You can delete your account in the app at any time.
5. How we behave
TeenMood is a closed space for people who know each other. It only works if everyone behaves properly. You may not:
- Bully, harass, threaten, or expose others.
- Share others' messages, photos, check-ins, Codes, or screenshots without their permission.
- Impersonate someone else.
- Share anything that is illegal, sexual content involving or about minors, violence, or anything that encourages self-harm.
- Pressure others into sharing more than they want to, including getting a friend to show you their check-ins.
- Use the app to sell anything, send spam, or lure people into other apps.
- Try to get Bestie to help with revenge, bullying, or getting around a rule that is there to protect you.
You own what you create in the app. You only grant us the rights we need to forward and store it in encrypted form so that it reaches those you share it with.
6. Report and block
You can block others, leave a crew, and report messages within the app. Because everything is encrypted, we cannot read it ourselves. When you report, your phone sends the messages you select to us. We review reports as quickly as possible and within 48 hours at the latest. You can also report via the contact page.
7. If the rules are broken
If someone breaks the rules, we may issue a warning, temporarily suspend, or delete the account. For serious violations, such as threats or sharing sexual images of minors, we will delete the account immediately and may pass the information on to the police. If you believe we have made a mistake, you can write to us and we will review it again.
8. Bestie is not a professional
Bestie is an AI that runs on your phone. It can make mistakes. It is not a psychologist, doctor, counsellor, or adult, and its responses are not professional advice. It cannot summon help and is not intended for emergencies. If you or someone else is in danger, call 112. If you need to talk to a person, use the helplines.
9. The app as it is
TeenMood is a free project, and we provide the app as it is. We do our best to ensure it works and is secure, but we cannot promise that it will always work, never lose data, or suit everything you want to use it for. We are not responsible for indirect losses, or for what other users write and share. This does not apply if we have acted with gross negligence or intent, and it does not limit the rights you have under Danish law.
10. Changes and termination
We may change the app and the terms. For significant changes, we will notify you in the app before they take effect. We may also shut down the app. In that case, we will give you sufficient notice so that you have time to save what you want.
11. Governing law
The terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes will be settled by the Danish courts. This does not deprive you of any rights you have as a consumer.
12. Privacy
How we process your information is set out in our privacy policy.
